SOCIAL | DIMI is a freelance social media consultancy run by Dimi Karavasilis. Originally from Athens, Greece, Dimi belongs to the “socially native” generation. He is an award-winning Social Media expert, a creative thinker and a marketing strategist. Over the past 7 years, he has worked with some of the biggest brands and ad agencies in the market – SEAT, Volkswagen, Desigual, Bacardi, Virgin Media, Barclaycard, DDB, RAPP to name a few – to help them align social media with different parts of their business.
In 2014, he successfully took over Desigual’s global social media channels, content strategy & global campaigns such as New York Fashion Week.
In January 2017, he joined forces with DDB Spain as a Freelance Head of Social to support them with two of their biggest accounts. Dimi led the social media strategy of the automotive brands SEAT Global, CUPRA & Volkswagen Spain.
